Schedule: Morning Shift Starting Between 7 – 10 AM | Night Shift Starting Between 12PM – 2 PM
Job Description
Servers are Service Teammate’s for the Front of the House Team. A Server is primarily responsible
for prompt, efficient and courteous service of food & beverage to all guests. Able to work under
pressure and in a fast-paced environment.
Responsibilities
- Responsible for prompt, efficient and courteous service of food & beverage to restaurant
guests
- Exhibits detailed and attentive customer service to all guests, while following the steps of
Service
- Takes and enters all orders on Point of Sale and ensures prompt delivery and explanation of
ordered items.
- Works as a team with other Servers, Bartenders and support staff to ensure Manny’s Diner
steps of service are met at all times.
- Explains in detail food & beverage menu items, making recommendations based upon guest
preference.
- Responsible for identifying allergies and dietary restrictions for all guests.
- Notifies Managers of any delays, complaints or other potential negative impressions.
- Creates memorable experience to build repeat business. Inform guests of other Manny’s
Diner restaurants.
- Consistently meets standards outlined within the Manny’s Diner Core Values.
- Performs other duties as assigned including side-work before & after shift
Requirements & Physical Demands
- The employee must occasionally lift and/or move up to 25 pounds and occasionally push
and/or pull up to 50 pounds. The employee will spend over 8 hours daily standing or walking.
- Prior knowledge/use of Clover or similar POS is preferred
- ServSafe Certified
- Speaks fluent English
- Excellent written and verbal communication and problem-solving skills
- Must be able to work flexible hours and days. Must exhibit top-notch teamwork
