We are a private household looking for a compassionate, dedicated, and experienced Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) to provide one-on-one care for our 33-year-old son in our home. Our son has specific health needs that require professional home care. We believe in creating a supportive environment not only for him but also for the people who work with us.
We are seeking a professional CNA who is passionate about providing personalized care in a home setting. The ideal candidate will have experience in home health care, be comfortable working independently, and have a genuine interest in improving the quality of life for our son. You will be an integral part of our family's support system, working directly with family members to ensure his comfort and health.
Key Responsibilities:
Perform routine care tasks such as bathing, dressing, and grooming to ensure our son's comfort and hygiene.
Monitor vital signs and symptom progression, responding to any changes in health status promptly.
Provide companionship and engage in activities to support his mental and emotional well-being.
Assist with mobility and physical therapy exercises as prescribed.
Operate and maintain medical equipment and devices.
Prepare meals according to dietary requirements and feed accordingly.
Ensure a clean and safe environment within the home.
Qualifications:
Valid CNA license in New Jersey.
Previous experience in home health care or related field preferred.
Excellent observational skills and attention to detail.
Ability to work independently with minimal supervision.
Strong interpersonal and communication skills, with a compassionate and patient demeanor.
Must speak English and have reliable transportation
There are 2 shifts available, 6 or 12 hours
