Home Health Care Aide – Cranford, NJ

Overview:
We are seeking a caring and dependable Home Health Care Aide to assist a male patient in Cranford, NJ, currently in physical therapy following a spinal cord injury. This role involves supporting daily activities, transfers, and mobility to promote independence and comfort.
Responsibilities:
Safely transfer and reposition patient (160 lbs, 5’11”).
Assist with daily living activities and mobility.
Support physical therapy routines as directed.
Monitor patient’s comfort and safety at all times.
Schedule:
Sunday: 8:00 AM – 2:00 PM & 7:30 PM – 11:00 PM
Tuesday: 7:30 PM – 11:00 PM
Requirements:
Physical ability to perform safe transfers.
Reliable transportation.
Willingness to learn patient care techniques.
(Preferred) Experience working with wheelchair users or spinal cord injury patients.
Compensation:
$23/hour - Paid in personal checks.
