Event Decoration Specialist

Adelphia Decor LLC is seeking a dynamic and versatile individual to join our team as an Event Decoration Specialist.
This role encompasses a wide range of responsibilities, from delivering and setting up event decoration to creating stunning visual displays. The ideal candidate is a hands-on, detail-oriented professional with a passion for events and a strong ability to multitask.
We will train and teach how to create balloon decor, working with flowers and creating arrangements as well as other aspects of event decoration
Responsibilities:
Setup: Collaborate with the core setup team to assemble event elements according to client specifications and timelines.
Balloon Artistry: Create eye-catching balloon garlands and other balloon arrangements, demonstrating a strong artistic flair and attention to detail.
Floral Arrangements: Assist with the creation of floral arrangements, complementing overall event decor and ensuring freshness and visual appeal.
Event Decoration: Contribute to event setup and breakdown, including hanging decorations, setting up tables and chairs, and creating overall ambiance.
Prep Work: Prepare event materials, such as inflating balloons, prep and clean florals, organizing floral supplies, and assembling floral arrangements and decorative elements.
Physical Labor: Ability to lift at least 30 lbs and perform physical tasks related to event setup and breakdown.
Additional Duties: Perform various errands as needed, maintain a clean and organized warehouse or storage area, and assist with general cleaning duties.
Qualifications:
Experience in event setup, delivery, hospitality, Restaurants, or Wedding and Event Venue or related field preferred
Strong organizational and time management skills
Ability to work independently and as part of a team
Physical ability to lift at least 30lbs and perform physical labor
Creative flair and attention to detail
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
Valid driver's license and reliable transportation
Availability to work weekends and some evenings is a MUST
These are a PLUS but NOT REQUIRED:
- Previous Balloon, Event Decoration and Floral Experience
- Previous experience working at a restaurant or wedding and event venue
-Comfortable driving a box truck
-Carpentry Skills
Position Details:
This position will initially be part-time with flexible hours. We anticipate the position to be part-time for approximately 3-4 months, with a strong possibility of transitioning to full-time employment. There is potential for growth into management roles for qualified candidates.
The pay rate for this position is $16-$20 per hour, based on experience. We offer W-2 employment.
