This position is responsible for performing general chemical warehouse duties in Linden, NKJ including but not limited to the following:
Be present at the facility Monday thru Friday from 7am until 3:30pm.
Communicate with the foreman to receive the day's work responsibilities
Learning recognition of hazardous materials
Perform labor tasks as related to the processing/repackaging of hazardous and non-hazardous materials in accordance with order requests in preparation of shipping out orders from the warehouse.
Inspect finished products in accordance with standards of quality, weight specifications and presentation.
Maintain/organize work area.
Other duties as assigned by Management.
Education/Experience/Skills
High School Graduate
Understanding of manufacturing regulations regarding safety and quality
Ability to work as a team.
Ability to regularly lift 50 lbs.
Knowledge of workplace safety.
Ability to follow directions.
Experience working in a chemical manufacturing environment is a plus.
Spanish speaking a plus
