Redi Carpet Operations Manager

Position Summary

The Operations Manager manages and coordinates the daily installation process by organizing the schedule, assigning crews, and supervising the load-out process. The operations Manager is expected to exercise independent judgment and discretion in the following functional areas: budgeting, quality control, safety and health, and personnel management.

Responsibilities (include, but not limited to the following)

 Schedule daily installations using Redi Carpet Software

 Communicate installation information to installers

 Coordinate resolution of installation problems and reschedule as necessary

 Maintain Installation Subcontractor Agreements

 Maintain Organization of paper flow

Billing separated and marked in the system as being received

 Identify , select, cultivate and evaluate quality flooring installation contractors

 Review and approve installer payment

 Manage all aspects of warehouse operations

Stage Material

Insure pad cut downs are completed

Insure accuracy of inventory through, receiving, transfer, measure balances and shipping

Complete Return to Stocks

Complete regular cycle counts on inventory

Manage and direct warehouse employees

 Ensure that waste disposal, recycling income, repair and maintenance, utility, uniform, supply gain, and operations labor expenses remain at or below budget goals

 Ensure compliance with applicable OSHA and Redi Safety standards including forklift operation and warehouse working conditions

 Maintain and inspect first-aid kits

 Maintain cleanliness of facility

 Participate in annual budgeting process

 Participate in quarterly physical inventory counts

 Assist with various tasks as requested by supervisor or the Branch Support staff

 Implement policies and procedures for warehouse and installation process

Important Goals and Deadlines

 Strive to complete all installations on the day originally requested

 Process work order and labor ticket paperwork daily

 Inspect staging area following load-out to identify products that did not ship

 Inspect pad cut bins for appropriate stocking levels

 Complete Return to Stocks on the same day they were returned

 Complete all staging prior to load out

 Load out completion target of 9am daily

 Completed work orders matched with installer pay day after install

Qualifications

 Management experience

 Bilingual English/Spanish preferred

 Resourceful with excellent problem solving skills

 Sense of urgency

 Strong multi-tasking skills

 High school diploma

Physical Requirements

 Must be able to work in a hectic environment with constant interruptions

 Must be able to be on your feet for long hours

 Must be able to concentrate for extended periods of time

 Must be able to lift at least 25 to 50 pounds of various inventory items
