This position is for an opening in a thriving psychology/mental health private practice based in Highland Park, NJ. This position requires the Administrative/Personal Assistant to be onsite at least once a week. We’re looking for a motivated, friendly, detail-oriented individual to help our Director and Center flourish.
Key roles for this job include:
● Organize and provide comprehensive administrative support for Director’s professional speaking engagements, etc.
● Coordinate and prepare materials for meetings, conferences, and presentations, including agendas, minutes, and relevant documents/slides
● Manage incoming patient phone calls, messages, and emails
● Run errands, including managing inventory and supplies in the office
● Provide assistance coordinating workshops and therapy groups (both on Zoom and in-person)
● Assist with the creation of marketing materials (flyers, graphics, etc.)
Required Qualifications:
● Great interpersonal skills and comfort in talking with new people
● Excellent organizational and time management skills, with the ability to multitask and prioritize tasks effectively.
● Confidence to work independently coupled with an openness to constructive feedback
● The ability to think on your feet and problem-solve without explicit guidance - someone who goes above and beyond
● “Tech savvy” (not just comfortable) with Office suite (esp. Excel and PowerPoint), social media, PDF software, etc.
● Social media and graphic design experience (e.g., Canva)
● Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation
● Orientation toward integrity and confidentiality
