Electrical Helper
Position Summary: Join our team as an Electrical Helper to assist electricians in residential and commercial electrical installation, maintenance, and repair projects.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
- Aid in installing electrical systems, wiring, conduit, fixtures, and other components.
- Follow lead electrician's guidance for efficient and safe task completion.
- Assist in preparing, handling, and supplying tools and materials.
- Transport materials and equipment to job sites as needed.
- Maintain a clean and safe work environment.
- Read and interpret basic blueprints and electrical schematics.
- Perform wire pulling, securing brackets, and basic wiring under supervision.
- Attend safety meetings and training sessions.
- Support electrical projects by executing assigned tasks.
Qualifications:
- 2-3 years of experience as an electrical helper in a residential setting
- Completion of vocational school or apprenticeship program preferred.
- Basic knowledge of electrical components and tools.
- Strong willingness to learn and develop skills.
- Effective communication and teamwork skills.
- Physical ability for lifting, climbing, and standing for extended periods.
- Basic math skills for measurements and calculations.
- Willingness to work indoors and outdoors.
- Valid driver's license and reliable transportation.
- Compliance with safety protocols and PPE requirements.
