ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES Repairs and maintains plant machinery and equipment such as mixers, coating equipment, slitters, compressed air systems, pumps and facilities equipment/infrastructure Provides general preventative maintenance of HVAC systems equipment (non-coolant applications) Provides general electrical repair/maintenance and installation electronic controls/equipment Performs electrical shutdown/startup of low to medium voltage equipment Performs preventative maintenance, inspections, and adjustments on all production and facilities equipment Participates in plant safety and continuous improvement programs Ensures all safety procedures, practices, and regulations are followed Purchasing of replacement and repair parts to rebuild/repair equipment in a timely manner within budgetary constraints. SKILLS AND QUALIFICATIONS High school diploma or GED. Post-secondary education in HVAC, electronics or industrial mechanics preferred. At least 5 years of experience working in a manufacturing environment with hydraulics, pneumatics and mechanics troubleshooting and repair. Experience in the converting or printing industries a plus.
