Description We are in search of a dedicated Customer Service Representative to join our team in Edison, New Jersey. As a crucial member of our team, your role will involve providing excellent customer support, resolving customer complaints, maintaining product knowledge, and managing customer orders. This role offers a short-term contract employment opportunity. Responsibilities: Handle and resolve customer complaints and issues with empathy and efficiency to ensure customer satisfaction. Assist customers with inquiries via chat, email, and phone, addressing questions about products, orders, and policies. Maintain a strong understanding of our product line to provide accurate information and recommendations to customers. Process orders, returns, and exchanges in a timely manner, ensuring all transactions are accurately recorded and communicated to the customer. Gather customer feedback to help improve our services and product offerings and communicate insights to the management team. Collaborate closely with other departments, such as sales and logistics, to ensure a seamless customer experience. Uphold the company’s values and mission in every customer interaction, promoting a positive and detail oriented image of the brand. Use customer service software like Zendesk and Microsoft Office Suite for efficient customer service. Use your skills in data entry to maintain accurate customer records and process customer applications. Ensure that all customer inquiries are resolved promptly and effectively. Requirements Proficiency in Microsoft Word and Microsoft Excel Experience in a call center customer service role Ability to manage both inbound and outbound calls Excellent customer service skills and commitment to providing a high level of service Strong data entry skills with attention to detail Ability to handle order entry tasks Experience with email correspondence in a detail oriented setting Familiarity with scheduling appointments, managing calendars, and coordinating schedules Knowledge of Zendesk or similar customer service platforms Willingness to learn about company products and services to provide accurate information to customers Excellent problem-solving skills and ability to handle customer complaints effectively Strong written and verbal communication skills Ability to work in a fast-paced, high-volume work environment Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
