Description We are offering a contract role for an Administrator in Conference Operations, based in Edison, New Jersey area. This role is pivotal within the Associations industry, and will involve managing operations in support of Meetings, Conferences & Events Conference Operations (CO) team.Responsibilities: Handle a large volume of tasks, requiring meticulous attention to detail Support Conference Organizer/OU Operations by accepting and reviewing submitted conference applications, ensuring compliance with policies, guidelines, and previous conference history Manage Conference Approval and standard Memorandum of Understanding (MOU), collaborating with the department and volunteers in processing MOUs Work in conference database and review conference history to ensure accurate preparation of Memorandum of Understanding (MOU), and secure approvals Serve as the main point of contact for assigned publications, including reporting, issue resolution, and some responsibility for time published into Xplore Provide accurate and timely responses to customer inquiries, both in written and oral communications, routing requests and projects to the appropriate subject matter expert for follow up and execution Field customer inquiries, providing complete and accurate information to internal and external customers in a timely and efficient manner Process customer credit applications accurately and efficiently Maintain accurate customer credit records Review all conference companies, both the company and outside organizations, to ensure compliance with laws and policies, and facilitate application review and approval and agreement of all companies.Requirements Proven experience in handling and processing inbound and outbound calls. Excellent customer service skills with the ability to handle inquiries and complaints in a detail-oriented manner. Proficiency in data entry tasks with high level of accuracy. Ability to effectively manage email correspondence, ensuring prompt and detail-oriented responses. Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite including Excel, Outlook, PowerPoint, and Word. Experience in scheduling appointments, coordinating meetings, and managing calendars. Ability to work in a fast-paced environment, prioritizing tasks to meet deadlines. Strong communication and interpersonal skills to interact with members and staff. Ability to work independently and as part of a team. Must be detail-oriented, demonstrating strong organizational skills. Detail-oriented and positive attitude, capable of representing the association in a positive manner.
