Description We are offering an exciting opportunity for a Logistics Analyst in Fort Lee, New Jersey. In this role, you'll be part of a team responsible for managing and optimizing the logistics process, from the point of origin to the point of destination. You'll work in a fast-paced environment, ensuring successful execution of contracts and providing reliable customer service. Responsibilities: Assist in controlling and expediting material and services, ensuring successful execution of contracts. Provide effective and reliable customer service to maintain customer satisfaction. Prepare, coordinate, and authorize shipping and delivery instructions in accordance with contract terms and conditions. Issue shipping instructions to suppliers and warehouse facilities. Contract with transportation providers as necessary. Review logistics documentation for conformity and accuracy. Monitor and track shipments to their point of delivery. Enter transaction information and logistics documentation into the ERP system. Regularly follow up with warehouses, carriers, and customers. Assist with weekly inventory reconciliations. Coordinate with sales, purchasing, accounting, suppliers, and customers as necessary. Requirements Must have a minimum of 5 years of experience as a Logistics Analyst or in a similar role. Proficient in ERP - Enterprise Resource Planning and ERP Solutions. Experience with IBM AS/400 is required. Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal. Strong customer service skills are essential. Experience in forecasting and planning in a logistics environment. Proficiency in KPI reporting and data analysis. A bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Logistics, or a related field is preferred. Ability to multitask and prioritize tasks effectively. Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail. Proactive, self-motivated, and able to work independently. Must be legally eligible to work without sponsorship. Ability to adapt to changing circumstances and environments. Strong computer skills, including proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite. Familiarity with supply chain processes and inventory management systems.
