For the short-term contract / temporary PC Technician role, you will be positioned in the Freehold, New Jersey, area.How you will make an impact
Track equipment inventory, and suggest and assist with purchases
Service a variety of computer hardware, diagnosing, repairing, rebuilding, and refurbishing PCs, laptops, monitors, servers, and other IT equipment
Interface with ticket submitters regularly and effectively
Image and prepare new computers
Install printers, troubleshoot problems and make repairs
Manage and carry out a variety of technology implementation projects
Maintain records of daily data communication transactions, issues and remedial actions taken or installation activities
Support functionality testing and end users
Comply with company quality standards to ensure sound electronic data records
Coordinate with the appropriate vendors to arrange repairs
Oversee data transfers from PC to PC and troubleshoot software/hardware and break/fix
Take down, pack, transport and set up/install on site
Take down, box and ship equipment that is outdated
Requirements - Demonstrated flexibility to adapt to changes in procedures and job assignments
Attention to detail and demonstrated ability to follow standard procedures is a requirement
CompTIA A+ certification mandatory
Ability to multitask effectively
Excellent problem-solving skills
Laptop Hardware experience
Solid understanding of Basic Troubleshooting
iPad experience preferred
1 - 3 years of experience with PC and Mac hardware and software, and an understanding of TCP/IP, DNS, DHCP, LAN, and WAN
