Position SummaryWhat you'll doLocation: Hoboken, NJJob Description SummaryWalmart's Marketplace team is seeking a thoughtful operator to support Launch & Growth for Walmart LocalFinds! This role will oversee market launch & expansion for our LocalFinds business, including activating new markets and geos, programmatic management of go-to-market (GTM) plans, balancing conflicting priorities and timelines, and thinking strategically on densification of existing markets. In addition, this role will also support the growth of our seller ecosystem, including promotions and discounts, site ad placements, and seller tooling. The successful candidate will bring a blend of strategic planning and analytical skills, hands-on execution, and a demonstrated history of cross-functional influence, preferably with experience in growing an eCommerce business.About Walmart Local MarketplaceWalmart Marketplace recently launched a new eCommerce offering - Walmart LocalFinds! The Walmart LocalFinds team is on a mission to revolutionize how customers shop with Walmart by offering an array of sellers and items for same-day local delivery. We are dedicated to improving the one-stop-shop experience for Walmart customers while leveraging our strong 3rd party seller platform and local delivery network.Job Responsibilities

Strategic Planning & Market Intelligence : Understand customer needs and business objectives, define criteria for successful market launch, analyze market density and coverage, and build an opportunity ranking model to prioritize markets for expansion.

Seller Growth & Experience : Conduct competitor research and produce written recommendations and insights for growing our seller program and building deeper relationships within the Walmart Marketplace ecosystem.

Data & Metrics Analysis: Evaluate operational data using BI tools to derive strategic insights on market performance. Leverage insights for prioritizing expansion opportunities and recommending growth drivers.

Operational Execution & Risk Management : Ensure operational, product, legal, and marketing standards are met for new launches & activations. Identify and escalate potential risks. Summarize key issues and way forward for senior leaders.

Cross-Functional Collaboration : Build, manage, and maintain relationships across different teams on strategic initiatives and intersectional analyses. Partner with sales, marketing, and seller teams to ensure timely and successful launch of strategic initiatives.

Team Culture : Set a high bar for collaboration and knowledge-sharing. Actively contribute to team culture and best practices.

Who You AreYou are a strategic thinker with strong analytical skills. You excel in building and managing cross-functional partnerships and are comfortable operating in a fast-paced and fast-evolving retail environment. Ideally, you have prior experience launching new eCommerce products and services OR have managed and grown operations at a market-level.What You'll Need

4-7 years of related experience in Go-To-Market, Launch, Seller Experience & Tooling, Consulting, Business Operations, Strategy, or a related field.

Strong analytical skills, preferably with practical experience in PowerBI, Tableau, or Looker.

Excellent critical thinking and communication skills. Ability to produce well-structured written recommendations.

Proven experience in program management, handling complex initiatives across multiple teams and stakeholders.

An entrepreneurial spirit and an excitement to build new businesses from ground-up.
