Nuveen is seeking an experienced Lead MDM Data Engineer/Architect who has direct experience with financial data management. In his role, you design, implement, and support data management solutions utilizing financial data management platforms such as Golden Source (Preferred), Markit EDM, Eagle Investment Systems etc. You will help build our Security Master, Client Master, and Entity master etc. that would drive multiple initiatives in Nuveen.The ideal candidate should possess a strong understanding of the capital markets and securities business, along with experience in building technical solutions aligned with business requirements. Collaborate with IT and Business stakeholders to research, design, develop, and troubleshoot end-to-end technical solutions for managing Master Data entities across all asset types.
Data Modeling: Collaborate with data architects to design and maintain master data models, hierarchies, and taxonomies with MDM platform.
Data Quality Management: Establish data quality controls, validation rules, and data cleansing processes to enhance data accuracy and reliability.
Collaboration: Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including IT, business analysts, and data stewards, to understand master data requirements and provide effective MDM solutions.

Minimum of 5+ years of demonstrated experience implementing financial data management platforms for MDM, such as GoldenSource (preferred), Markit EDM, Eagle Investment Systems etc.
Minimum of 5+ years’ experience working with data architecture and data engineering. Possess deep understanding of reference data across all security types.
At least 3+ years with integrating data management systems, including mastering solutions, with market data vendor feeds.
Preferred:
Demonstrated understanding of capital markets and securities business, including Security Master, Party master and Product master etc. concepts.
Possess a demonstrated track record in large-scale data modeling and the implementation of efficient ETL/ELT strategies.
Experience with data warehousing solutions and a strong understanding of their architecture.
Proven expertise in managing large scale software implementation projects, focused on improving financial services operational processes, using Agile methodologies.
Experience with integrating with various market data vendor feeds such as Bloomberg, S&P, Moody’s, Fitch, ICE, FACTSET etc.
