Investment Ops ManagerThe Investment Operations Manager is responsible for supervising a team of professional level employees who are responsible for various operational processes pertinent to trade processing, settlements, securities transfer and record maintenance. This job leads the team in the execution of operational activities for the investment function, supporting the management of capital on behalf of pensions, endowments, corporate plan sponsors, and other institutional investors.Key Responsibilities and Duties
Provides management support of reconciliation process and guidance to team members and/ or other colleagues in various locations to ensure quality of data provided to investment team and various other users of this information.
Functions as primary escalation contact with trustees and agent banks in relation to issues and resolution of problematic discrepancies with custodians, trustees, agent banks, and/or counterparties.
Liaise with traders and other front office individuals to resolve trade issues and/or trade discrepancies.
Analyze and oversee processing of complex restructures including multi-currency re-builds, defaults, and extensions.
Organize the maintenance of all Leverage Finance activity (interest rate resets, principal repayments, principal drawdowns, margin changes) in all Leverage Finance systems.
Oversee WSO data, transactions discrepancies and liaise with service provider to resolve issues.
Manage the oversight of cash/currency positions and assess potential FX spot and forward adjustments and communicate to front office as appropriate.
Review and provide Leverage Finance Operations approval for compliance reporting to internal departments.
Monitor the delivery of daily cashflow projections to portfolio managers, analysts, and Leverage Finance Operations.
Deliver regular ongoing feedback through one on ones, quarterly discussions, and conduct performance reviews; provide compensation recommendations.
Assess and address training needs of staff in current and future-state assets and systems.
Participate in all aspects of the talent cycle, including determining staffing requirements, recruitment, and employee development.
Responsible for assessing issues, identification of resolutions/alternatives, providing/implementing recommendations, and prioritizing business needs for daily BAU activities.
Ensure documentation process requirements and updating of procedures for settlement, restructuring, cash, data, liquidations, closing & onboarding for Leverage Finance Operations.
Be a leader in transformation and change, by actively leading and/ or participating in projects to help the team increase efficiency and effectiveness.
Assist with the creation, tracking, and reporting of metrics for the Leverage Finance Operations team.

3 or more years of experience managing team.
Experience in distressed and direct lending loans.
Knowledge of Wall Street Office (WSO) and ClearPar is required.
Knowledge of workflow automation tools and ability to quickly learn processes desired.
Organizational skills necessary to meet deadlines, prioritize projects, multi-task, and coach team members on organizing daily workflows.
Ability to motivate the team on projects and initiatives.
Adaptable to current and new technologies.
