New York Life is a relationship-based company and appreciates how both virtual and in-person interactions support our culture.Overview :The New York Life Institutional Annuities Business Analysis team is offering and exciting opportunity in which the ideal candidate will work closely with our business partners to modernize and enhance its current and future technology platforms, identify and articulate process improvements while engaging with various teams at all levels of the organization.Responsibilities :The candidate will be responsible for proactively engaging with business partners to elicit, clarify and clearly articulate needs. He or she ensures requirements equate to business value and are delivered as requested, partners with delivery teams throughout the development, testing and delivery phases, informs timely of obstacles and challenges, and continuously learns the business through training and product development.Desired Experience :2-5+ years of Business Analysis, Management Consulting, or similar experienceWell versed with collaborative tools e.g., Jira, Tableau, Confluence, SharePointBusiness analysis and systems analysis experienceExcellent presence and experience in communicating to all levels.Highly innovative, flexible, and self-directedResults-oriented person with a delivery focusHandles multiple competing priorities in a fast-paced, deadline-driven environment.Previous experience working within the Life Insurance or Annuities Industry would be a plus.Previous experience working with Policy Admin System, Correspondence Generation Tool is a plus.Knowledge of NYL products would be a plus.Experience working within agile and waterfall methodologies to deliver large complex projects.Skills :Excellent critical thinking and analysis thinkingAbility to articulate clearly with all audiences at various levels.SQL+ knowledge preferred but not requiredAbility to map process flows and articulate impacts.Ability to work well in a team environment as well as independently to meet deliverable.Education :Bachelor’s Degree required.Master's degree preferred but not required.Certifications in Business Analysis, Agile - preferred but not required.LI-KV1Salary range : $62,500-$92,500Overtime eligible : ExemptDiscretionary bonus eligible : YesSales bonus eligible : NoClick here to learn more about our benefits .
