I need Azure cloud engineers, Long-term, ongoing contract. Fully remote.
MUST HAVE:
5+ years solid cloud and infrastructure engineering experience
Hands-on experience with Python, Terraform Enterprise, Ansible Tower development
Linux/windows OS experience
o Past experience in a Linux administration role
Database and development experience
Automation experience (python, PowerShell, bash, etc)
Enterprise experience
STRONG communication
o Verbal and written will be documenting their work & writing user guides
PLUS SKILLS;
ServiceNow Experience
ITIL knowledge
D2D:
Cloud engineering, OS hardening, Linux administration, desired state management, service development, sustaining engineering, monitoring, deployments, running servers, etc. They will also do some T3 and T4 support for users, make sure systems are secure, etc.
Technical service development of Azure Platform
Build and maintain Azure Landing Zone foundation
o Azure USGov account structure and provisioning automation
o AAD management and automation
o Network / network security integration and automation
o Centralized logging and monitoring
Define controls and guardrails for individual services
o Document service architecture and implementation guides for app teams
o Define technical control points and automate configuration / auto-remediation
o Assess service against policy and NIST 800-171a control requirements & remediate gaps
o Consolidate audit logging and identify security incident patterns
o Develop Terraform modules and/or Ansible Playbooks for standardized lifecycle management
o Develop event-driven automation for post provision configuration and auto-remediation
o Develop least-privileged custom roles
o Develop integration into core systems (identity/networks/DDI/network security/incident response/ITIL/etc)
Implement VM and container management solutions and automation
