Experis IT (a ManpowerGroup company) has partnered with a leading financial services organization. The job location is in Jersey City, NJ for a contract Business Control Manager to assist their team. We require candidates who are willing to provide their last 5 years of W2 records (The client will conduct a thorough background check upon hire). The candidates must be local and W2 only; no third-party candidates will be accepted at this time.Title: Business Control ManagerLocation: Jersey City, NJ ( onsite job, need local candidates only)Duration:    12- 18+ monthsRate: 40-48$/Hour on W2Job Summary:Responsibilities:

Execute risk mitigating strategies for key technology areas to ensure conformance with laws, rules, and regulations.

Partner with multiple technology organizations, divisional leads within Global Technology Operations, and Line of Business, along with control partners (i.e., GIS, Technology Compliance Ops Risk, Audit, etc.).

Identify recommendations to leadership to maximize efficient identification, assessment, and remediation of risk.

Utilize technical domain expertise in data management, information security, infrastructure, or network operations to drive policy adherence and maintain sustainable risk-based solutions.

Oversee Issue Management activities end-to-end, including the development of action plans for self/audit/compliance-identified issues .

Requirements:

5+ years of relevant work experience in technology, with some applied within financial services or risk.

3-5 years of professional domain expertise in a technical discipline, such as data management, artificial intelligence, and/or information security.

Organizational acumen.

Ability to communicate complex technical subject matter into clear, concise language suited for various audiences ranging from executives to junior analysts.

Demonstrated increasing levels of accountability and ownership.

Demonstrated ability to operate as a change ambassador by advocating and embracing change across diverse stakeholder groups.

Strong collaboration and partnering skills with the ability to positively influence and motivate teams.

Comfortable with ambiguous situations, capable of analyzing, simplifying, and collaborating to solve complex problems.

Strategic thinker, self-starter, organized, versatile, and capable of performing work with minimal management oversight.

Ability to coordinate and drive execution of priorities and meet deadlines to adhere to policies and standards.

Can quickly connect the dots to demonstrate the ability to identify and perform thematic analysis.
