Position Summary:

Technical Project Manager



  • Work as a Project Manager in the Global Banking Technology Team. Assess application vulnerability risks and assist technical teams with remediation planning, risk documentation, risk mitigation and residual risk identification.
  • Manage a portfolio of risk deliverables and coordinate/track remediation across a large population of applications.


Responsibilities include:

  • Evaluate and refine technical remediation plans into clearly written narratives
  • Interface between technical teams and Business Information Solution Officer to provide evidence and rationale for risk remediation planning
  • Provide executive level reporting for various risk portfolios and key risks
  • Assist technical teams with risk solutions to work around open issues / problems that are under investigation or pending resolution
  • Supports program and project management responsibilities relating to application software implementations and upgrades.
  • Role has matrix execution responsibility across multiple technology teams
  • Manages multiple projects or a single complex project. Partners with Program and Project Managers and SMEs to create business requirements for technology solutions.
  • Manages to timelines and communicates project status and has matrix management responsibility
  • Build positive give and take relationships with stakeholders

Required Skills:

  • 5-7 years' experience in similar role.
  • Educational background and experience in technology with knowledge of programs and projects frameworks.
  • Ability to evaluate large volumes of data, extract and appropriately summarize
  • Highly capable in Microsoft Excel and advanced features
  • Highly capable in Microsoft PowerPoint
  • Ability to motivate and influence other teams to achieve remediation plans per target dates
  • Ability to clearly communicate risk deliverable requirements and call to action
  • Ability to navigate and discern appropriate communication channels to effectively engage a broad array of technical and non-technical resources
  • Must be a self-starter with ability to work independently
  • Team player with good interpersonal skills, positive attitude, and flexibility
  • Must be able to face off to business and technology leaders of varying levels of seniority
  • Written and verbal communication skills, able to lead meetings, follow-up, negotiate and resolve ambiguity
  • Keen attention to detail and sense of ownership and accountability for work
