We are searching for Java Developers to join our expanding team. In this role you will be responsible for building and supporting a client-side platform used to deliver several key applications and advanced Sales, Research & Analytics tools.
We have a global development team focused on providing technology solutions to solve our clients' needs. The team partners with the global Markets Execution, Sales and Research businesses and has responsibility for client-facing technology deliveries providing thousands of users with capabilities covering electronic trading, pre-trade analytics and post trade operations.
Qualifications:
• Working proficiency in Full Stack toolset to design, develop, test, deploy, maintain, and improve software
• Strong understanding of Agile methodologies with ability to work in at least one of the common frameworks
• Strong understanding of techniques such as Continuous Integration and Continuous Delivery
• Attains excellent track record in test coverage and code hygiene.
• Ability to translate functional requirements to technical design and requirements
• Perform code reviews, develop, and review test scenarios in collaboration with QA
• Experience in architecting and building secure, highly available, resilient, scalable systems leveraging clustering and load balancing of web (Apache), app servers (Tomcat) and messaging systems (Kafka or MQ Series)
• Knowledge of container-based development, orchestration, micro services frameworks, and tools is a plus
• Strong understanding of Agile methodology and leveraging SDLC tools to improve development and testing efficiency
• Experience using Big Data frameworks and NoSQL DBs is a plus
• Banking and payments domain background is a plus
