In order to capitalize on our success and continued growth plans we are seeking a Senior Information Security Engineer/Architect.
As a senior member of the Information security team, this role will be taking a lead in engineering various security solutions and managing implementation of security technologies for Tradeweb's enterprise technology. The ideal candidate will be knowledgeable in multiple domains of security and should be able to design and implement high impacting solutions across the organization. The role will also have an opportunity to work with subject matter experts not only within security, but across infrastructure, network, development, and business teams.
We look to hire people who are comfortable in working with minimal supervision as part of a team that has consistently delivered ground-breaking and innovative solutions in one of the most exciting and fast-moving areas of the of the financial markets. We need people who are able to prioritize and can effectively communicate complex issues to non-technical team members. We need someone who has business experience in the Financial Industry, who can meet with our internal and external clients and talk confidently about our Cyber Security program, and help integrate our business needs with our Cyber Security needs.
Tradeweb Technology jobs are fully remote. The Tradeweb Technology hub is located in our Jersey City office which can be used for team meetings and collaboration efforts. There may be days where travel to the Jersey City office is recommended for organizational off-sites.

Job Responsibilities
  • Strategize, develop and lead cyber programs, processes, tools and technologies as a lead of the security engineering and design team.
  • Be a leader in driving cybersecurity innovation while balancing functionality with cybersecurity risks
  • Serve as an information security advisor and SME on various security initiatives to business & technology teams.
  • Collaborate with various stakeholders to understand and translate company strategies into near- and long-term cybersecurity roadmaps
  • Proactively influence peers and senior leaders, introduce best practices and principles to enable consistent delivery and alignment with long-term direction to build a strong cybersecurity culture.
  • Set goals and manage simultaneous projects, be part of escalation team to troubleshooting and reacts to system/network security incidents.
  • Keep abreast of developing cybersecurity threats, and help the team understand potential risks that leads to strategic and tactical decisions

Qualifications
  • Bachelors degree in IT, Cybersecurity, Computer Science or Engineering
  • 10+ years of experience in security engineering and design field in one or more cyber security domains such as data security, identity management, privileged access management, web/email/network security, etc.
  • CISSP, CISM, GIAC or equivalent qualifications are preferred.
  • Extensive experience in conducting technical architecture/design discussions and guidance to peers and senior leaders of the firm.
  • Experience in IAM principles & practices and handling federation standards such as SAML, and OAuth2/OIDC.
  • Experience in managing data discovery, labeling, classification processes and technology in on-prem or cloud infrastructure.
  • Experience with Security Information and Event Management (SIEM) platforms (Splunk, ELK), logical thinking and ability to create searches, dashboards, etc. preferred
  • Solid knowledge of security industry standards and best practices NIST, CSA, CIS etc. and develop, implement, manage security standards and operational processes to secure systems and infrastructure based on industry standards.
  • Strong understanding of the latest threats, techniques, security principles and protocols.
  • Needs to be a motivated self-starter, experience in managing complex enterprise-wide projects and skills to prioritize projects and tasks to meet deadlines.

  • The current pay range for this role if performed in the city of New York is currently $140,000 to $285,000 per year, based on a regular, full-time schedule. The amount of pay offered will be determined by a number of factors, including but not limited to qualifications, market data, geographic location, and internal guidelines.
