This position leads a global team of highly talented associates to drive the efficiency and long-term commercial success of Hach’s broad portfolio of solutions including instruments, chemistries, software and services.Key Responsibilities· Build a world-class team that leverages the Veralto Enterprise System (VES) and is powered by Diversity & Inclusion.· Lead a team responsible for identifying, assessing, and developing plans to accelerate business growth and profitability through mergers, acquisitions, Water Quality Segment collaboration, and organic opportunities.· Partner with Hach’s global leadership and strategic teams to develop a global view that takes into account market specific trends and opportunities in North America, Latin America, Europe, MEA, APAC and China.· Own the quarterly scorecard process of how Hach compares globally against the market and competition.· Evaluate white space opportunities for possible expansion through partnership, mergers, or acquisitions.· Partner closely with Veralto Corporate Development and key stakeholders on ownership of the Hach inorganic funnel, strategic assessment, analysis and recommendations, Merger & Acquisition deal flow, due diligence & potential integration.Requirements:· Bachelor’s degree required, MBA highly preferred.· 8+ Experience in Strategy, Management Consulting, and/or Finance working with strategic framework tools, industry analysis, and/or financial modeling. Prior valuation/deal experience is highly desirable.· Experience in a high tech, industrial or medical industry where consumables and a razor/razor blade model are the primary generators of revenue.· Experience going through White Paper and Due Diligence exercise in pursuit of an M&A target.· Experience developing content and presenting to an executive audience in a clear and succinct manner.· Experience working in a strategic fashion for a Global organization with $500M+ of annual salesCompetencies that will make you successful:· High level of strategic agility, excellent decision making and problem-solving skills, and a demonstrated ability to drive innovation.· Demonstrated learning agility and the ability to quickly grasp an understanding and command of the global water market: products, players, technologies, and contacts.· Understanding of the complexity of business needs and decision drivers within an organization. Must be able to consider available facts, constraints, competitive circumstances, and probable consequences.· Strong qualitative (VOC) and quantitative (analytical modeling) assessment skills and experience, with the ability to interpret large amounts of information.Travel Requirements:· Must be able to travel up to 30% of the time; both domestic and international travel is required.· The salary range for this role is $190,000-$230,000. This is the range that we in good faith believe is the range of possible compensation for this role at the time of this posting. We may ultimately pay more or less than the posted range and this range is only applicable for jobs to be performed in Colorado. This range may be modified in the future.· This job is also eligible for bonus pay.· We offer a comprehensive package of benefits including paid time off, medical/dental/vision insurance and 401(k) to eligible employees.· Note: No amount of pay is considered to be wages or compensation until such amount is earned, vested, and determinable.
