Manpower Group has partnered with a leading Financial Services organization in the Jersey City, for NJ for a contract Technical Project Manager to assist their team.Title: Technical Project Manager on W2Location: Jersey City, NJDuration: 12 monthsHybrid 3 days office and 2 days remoteJob Responsibilities:

PMO report automation with hands-on coding proficiency - no exceptions (SQL and MS Power Query M language)

Strong data analysis background with proven experience in relational databases and understanding of data quality

Excellent communication skills and strong problem-solving abilities

Designs, implements, and maintains data analytics and reporting solutions for Project Portfolio Management.

Communicates with project and portfolio management practitioners to support adoption of the reports, help validate data, and solicit feature requests.

Works with SMEs to understand data requirements and translate them into data models.

Assembles large, complex data sets, identifies logical connections, and automates data validation and ETL processes.

Contributes to the evolution of the Project Portfolio Management processes and tools.

Strong technical background with proven experience in using Relational Databases, implementing data quality, analytics, ETL and Reporting.

Hands-on coding proficiency - no exceptions (SQL and MS Power Query M language are used by the team)Hands-on experience with Microsoft Excel and ability to develop database-driven automated spreadsheets.

Excellent communication skills and strong problem-solving abilities.

Must be outcome oriented, delivery and execution capable, able to identify risks and quickly resolve issues, influence outcomes across multiple organizations, platforms, and stakeholders.

Able to think abstractly and reduce complex issues and/or solutions to simplified, actionable tasks

Be able to influence and work at all levels of engagement - from stakeholder influencing to Agile methodology deliverables.Solid understanding of project/program/portfolio management.

Must be able to work with minimal supervision.

3 - 5 years defining/establishing complex corporate systems.

Experience with VBA / Microsoft Office Macros

Experience in data warehouses and data governance
