Administrative Assistant
Duties:
- Perform various administrative tasks to support the smooth operation of the office
- Assist with accounts payable and accounts receivable tasks, including processing invoices, payments, and reconciling accounts (AIA billing experience a plus)
- Conduct bank reconciliations to ensure accuracy of financial transactions
- Assist with payroll processing and ensure timely and accurate payment to employees
- Utilize 10-key typing skills to input data accurately and efficiently
- Assist with tax-related tasks, such as preparing tax documents and assisting with tax filings
- Prepare financial reports by gathering and analyzing data, and writing reports
- Provide technical accounting support as needed, including account analysis and reconciliation
- Answer phones
Skills:
- Strong organizational skills with the ability to prioritize tasks effectively
- Multi-taster/self-starter
- Excellent attention to detail and accuracy in data entry and financial calculations
- Proficient in using accounting software and Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Word, PowerPoint)
- Knowledge of basic accounting principles and practices
- Ability to maintain confidentiality of sensitive financial information
- Strong written and verbal communication skills
