Assistant to Project Manager
Job Description
Established remodeling company with residential roofing & siding emphasis is looking for an individual to assist the Project Manager with the day to day running of our roofing crews, siding crews and service mechanics.
This position involves assisting the Project Manager with setting up the upcoming jobs, helping to schedule material delivery from various supply houses, scheduling dumpsters in and out of jobs.
This position requires a significant amount of driving a company truck to pick up and drop off various material and supplies to the crews to help keep the jobs moving through completion. The position includes helping close out jobs by bringing any leftover material back to our shop or returned to supply house and doing final clean ups around home to be sure projects are left clean.
The ability to drive a truck and trailer would be helpful as the company has equipment that will occasionally need to be towed to a job-site.
It would be helpful if individual has a general understanding of some residential roofing, vinyl siding and carpentry work.
It would be significantly beneficial if the individual has some knowledge and skills to help performing some minor roofing work, siding work and can use a siding brake.
