The Warehouse Manager is responsible for planning, organizing, and controlling all warehouse manufacturing operations, including receiving, shipping, material handling, organization, and inventory control. In addition, this position ensures that accurate and complete accounting, reporting, and internal control systems function and that all relevant records are properly maintained.Primary Job Responsibilities Supervision and management of warehouse & inventory supervisors and staff Supervise the accurate receipt of all arriving goods Compile and issue required reports, including inventory, dead stock, goods age, consumption Monitor the quantity and quality of commodities stored Carry out regular physical random warehouse checks of commodities and inventory Maintain housekeeping of the warehouse and surrounding area Assess the availability of space and prepare stacking/storage plans prior to commodities' arrival Work closely with Quality, Engineering, Manufacturing, and Sales/Marketing to ensure material and services are provided in a timely, orderly and cost-effective manner Direct the Shipping and Receiving department to ensure timely, accurate, and documented delivery and receipt of materials/product Communicate proactively with leadership on materials issues that may impact the ability to meet shipping schedules Establish proper stock levels to meet desired customer service needs and company policies Manage, in coordination with Operations, all transactions related to materials availability and open order accuracy Establish proper kitting cycle process to all manufacturing areas Provide adequate and accurate accounting of all inventory items for which Supply Chain is responsible Maintain equipment training and maintenance logs Work to ensure and maintain compliance with safety, operational, and regulatory standards of Quality Management Systems (QMS), Environmental Management (EMS), and Occupational Health & Safety Association (OHSA)Job Requirements Bachelor's Degree and/or 3-5 years experience in Supply Chain, Inventory, and Warehouse Management in a manufacturing environment Familiarity with ISO 9001 Standards, Lean Manufacturing and Logistics principles Proficient in analysis and design of supply chain solutions with strong information systems orientation Solid computer skills in MS Office, Outlook, and SAP a plusWe are committed to providing equal employment opportunities to all employees and applicants without regard to race, religion, color sex, national origin, citizenship status, age, sexual orientation, gender identity, marital status, uniform service member status, genetic information, disability, or any other protected status, in accordance with all applicable federal, state, and local laws.
