We are seeking a motivated and eager Apprentice Industrial Painter to join our team in Kings Park, NSW. This apprenticeship role offers an excellent opportunity to build a long-term career in industrial painting while completing a Certificate III in Surface Preparation and Coating Application.Working under the guidance of experienced painters, you’ll learn and assist with all aspects of surface preparation, coating application, and finishing across a range of industrial equipment and structures. This role requires a strong willingness to learn, a commitment to safety, and the ability to perform physically demanding tasks in various environments.What You’ll Be DoingSupporting experienced industrial painters with surface preparation, coating application, and finishing tasks.Assisting with cleaning, masking, abrasive blasting, and maintaining workshop and job site areas.Learning safe work practices, correct use of PPE, and proper handling of paints and materials.Helping with the setup, operation, and maintenance of spray and preparation equipment.Developing skills in reading job specifications, blueprints, and Safety Data Sheets (SDS).Participating in equipment cleaning, waste disposal, and environmental compliance activities.Building hands-on experience and technical knowledge through formal training and completion of a Certificate III in Surface Preparation and Coating Application.Contributing as a reliable and proactive member of a supportive, safety-focused team.
