Ensure oversight of equipment, IAC accreditation and quality performance of echo technologists at Cooperman Barnabas Medical Center, Ambulatory Care Center, and outpatient echo lab offices. The Non-Invasive Manager will work with each location medical directors to ensure quality improvement across the service and assist with procedures as needed.Qualifications:Required:

High School Diploma or Equivalent

Certificate from an approved school for diagnostic ultrasound

Completion of orientation programs

Preferred:

1 year previous cardiac ultrasound in a hospital setting

Stress echo and T.E.E. experience

Previous leadership experience

Certifications and Licenses Required:

Ultrasound Diagnostic Certificate

Essential Functions:

Schedules staff to provide adequate coverage for expedient service

Reviews examination request, verifies physician or determines the priority

Observes equipment for proper functioning and arranges for repair service

Ensure available to scan and assist in staffing needs of the department as needed

Maintains Quality Assurance as set forth by ICAEL standards. Assists in the submission and credentialing process of all IAC sites (NJCA, CIC, Lenchur, CBMC/ACC)

Ensure and assist in the medical centers quality improvement objectives and goals

Ensure the proper staff evaluation, counseling and issued are addressed with medical director and leadership

Ensure data and volume are accurate and reviewed

Train and assist new staff on ISCV system and logs are accurate

Coordinates and directs daily activities of staff. Verifies that all images are of optimal quality and correctly labeled per policy

Ensure staffing schedule is communicated in a timely manner

Ensure Equipment and supply are accurate and meets the standards of the department

Ensure CEM process of evaluation of equipment and registering of equipment during budget process

Ensure Epic work-que are reviewed daily and addressed for any outstanding issues

Ensure Epic reports and dashboard are reviewed and addressed, participate as needed on department meetings and finance calls

Lead departmental meetings, huddles and one to one with staff
