Nobel Biocare is a member of the Envista Corporation.Operating Company:Nobel BiocareJob Description:The Maintenance Technician is responsible for the daily activities of maintaining the CNC production equipment.Responsibilities:
Reduce production equipment downtime
Document work performed and report incidents and variances
Validate and test new equipment following SOP, FDA and ISO standards
Work in 2 and 3 shifts, extended hours and on weekends if necessary
Job Requirements:Required Knowledge, Experience and Qualifications:
College or trade school degree in engineering mechanics or electronics
5 years work experience preferably in pharmaceutical or medical device industry
Knowledge of CNC equipment controlled by FANUC, Heidenhain and Siemen's controls
Able to read schematics including electrical diagrams, pneumatic diagrams and hydraulic diagrams
Able to troubleshoot and repair electrical, hydraulic and pneumatic system problems in CNC machinery
Able to diagnose faulty sensors, relays, motor starters, breakers, etc. within CNC equipment and replace when needed
Proven experience with analog and digital instrumentation
Experience with Six Sigma, Lean, SPC
Good PC software skills (MS Office)
Good written and verbal communication skills
Preferred Knowledge, Experience and Qualifications:
Must be able to initiate a plan of action and make decisions independently
Team player and reliable
Familiarity with standard maintenance tracking software (Faciliworks)
Confidence in working with latest, state-of-the-art technology
