Description We are offering a long-term contract employment opportunity for a detail-oriented Associate Engineer in Quality Assurance Engineering. The position is based in Mahwah, New Jersey. As an Associate Engineer, you will be utilizing your expertise in Quality Assurance Engineering, with a focus on understanding and approving various processes such as PPAP, FAI, DCP, PFMEA, IGS, and Mfg. Procedures.Responsibilities: Understand and document the PPAP process for approval. Review, comprehend, and approve FAI, DCP, PFMEA, IGS, and Mfg. Procedures. Communicate effectively with suppliers. Investigate nonconformances and CAPAs with suppliers. Utilize knowledge on Supply chain, Operations, and Production. Navigate any PLCM such as OnePLM, Windchill, SAP. Implement knowledge on any Production Software like MES, EPS, Oracle, I factory. Comprehend and action on Engineering changes including ECR, ECN, CT. Utilize your extensive knowledge and comprehensive understanding of processes, procedures, and systems in carrying out assigned tasks. Apply your understanding of the underlying concepts & principles upon which the job is based.Requirements Must possess a strong understanding of Operations and Procedures. Proven experience in Supervising and Production is essential. A strong background in Engineering is required. Proficiency in Oracle is a must. Experience working with Suppliers and understanding of Supply Chain Logistics is necessary. Must have a solid grasp of Quality Assurance Principles. Familiarity with MES (Manufacturing Execution Systems) is required. Knowledge of CAPA (Corrective and Preventive Action) is necessary. Experience with PPAP (Production Part Approval Process) is beneficial. Must have hands-on experience with MFG (Manufacturing) processes. Understanding of PFMEA (Process Failure Mode and Effects Analysis) is required. Knowledge of Femoroacetabular impingement (FAI) is an asset. Experience with ECN (Engineering Change Notices) is necessary. Familiarity with EPS (Enterprise Planning Solutions) is beneficial. Proficiency in SAP S/4HANA is required.
