Description We are offering an employment opportunity for an Accounts Payable Specialist located in Monmouth County, NJ. As an Accounts Payable Specialist, you will be responsible for a wide range of clerical and customer service duties necessary to ensure the smooth operation of daily business.Responsibilities: Assist customers with inquiries and strive for resolution Review and verify the accuracy of new residential customer information Update customer accounts for auto-pay and e-billing Scan customer checks into the bank on a daily basis Prepare daily payment check batches Prepare daily e-box/ivr/wire batchesSkills: Cash Applications Accounts Payable (AP) Prepare Invoices Process Vendor InvoicesRequirements Proven experience in the role of an Accounts Payable Specialist or similar position. Demonstrated proficiency in Cash Applications. Hands-on experience with Accounts Payable (AP) processes. Ability to prepare and process invoices accurately and in a timely manner. Experience in processing vendor invoices. Strong understanding of basic accounting principles. Proficiency in using financial software and MS Office (especially MS Excel). High degree of accuracy and attention to detail. Excellent organizational skills and ability to prioritize work. Strong numerical skills. Ability to work independently and as part of a team. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
