Atlantic Visiting Nurse, part of Atlantic Health System, is seeking a hospice Registered Nurse to work Monday - Friday from 8 AM to 4 PM in the Morris, Essex, Union, and Somerset County area, including weekends and on-call as required by department. In this position you will work with adult and geriatric patients of all backgrounds who require care in their homes. You are compassionate, thoughtful, and comfortable working with elderly and terminally ill patients. You will be responsible for managing a heavy caseload (up to 4 patients a day); time management skills are essential. However, it is important to provide each patient with the time and attention necessary to meet his or her needs.

Responsible for assisting nursing personnel in giving quality care to patients in the operating room. Performs duties and responsibilities of a scrub person under the direction of a registered professional nurse. Assists in obtaining supplies, equipment and opening of operating and other rooms, as necessary. Breaks down setup and prepares instruments for sterilization. Helps transfer patients to the recovery room and cleans and restocks the operating room.
