Serenity Hospice Care has an immediate opening for a Registered Nurse with Hospice experience. The position is for an RN in the Hospital Friday, Saturday and Sunday from 9am to 9pm in Essex County, New Jersey. This is a fantastic full time position allowing the chosen candidate full time hours, benefits and pay while working three days per week. Candidate must be able to stay at the hospital from 9am to 9pm in order to care for oue hospice patient needs. They will respond to patients in distress, provide nursing care, emotional support and education to terminally ill patients and their families in the hospital setting. They must demonstrate clinical expertise in nursing assessment, nursing diagnosis, and advanced proficiency in technical skills necessary for developing, providing, and coordinating end of life care to patients. Candidate will have access to clinical support throughout shift.Graduate of an accredited Diploma, Associate Degree or Baccalaureate School of NursingMust possess a current valid Driver’s license, valid automobile insurance and reliable transportationPrevious Experience: hospice, oncology or community health nursing.Bilingual - English/Spanish preferredMust be willing to travel.Immediate opening for qualified individual.
