Immediate laboratory technician position with the leading Cancer Research Institute in New Jersey! This position requires a candidate with at least an Associates degree in a science and 1 year of laboratory experience.Shift: Four days 10 hour shifts Monday-Thursday or Tuesday-FridayDescription:
Repetitive laboratory tasks with centrifuge and sample packaging
Daily, collects tissues/body fluids and other biological specimens from area hospital operating rooms, pathology laboratories.
Accurately documents biological specimen collection information onto specimen collection forms.
Maintains organized storage of specimens and specimen records in lab.
Ships and receives research specimens. Acts as the primary shipping technician being responsible for training new personnel and retraining those who need correction.
Maintains de-identification of patient files and surgical reports compliant with HIPAA regulations.

work with human samples (urine, blood, fecal matter, saliva, etc)
complex testing for blood (separate serum and plasma, isolate blood cells, use centrifuges, etc)
Qualifications:
AS or BS in Science
1+ years of professional lab experience
