SERVICE ADVISOR POSITION
We are a family run automotive repair shop looking for a Service Advisor to join our team and help us oversee the flow of work.
As a Service Advisor, you will be the first point of contact with our customers and will be tasked with helping us make a positive and lasting impression on them starting from greeting vehicle owners and listening to their concerns, throughout the repair process, and until closing out their repair order and accepting payment.
RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Make sure all customers receive prompt, effective, and courteous service.
- Oversee service orders and flow of shop.
- Communicate and maintain good working relationships with techs and management.
- Communicate and answer customers' questions about vehicle problems, services, and repairs.
- Create estimates and sell jobs to customers.
- Order and keep track of parts purchases for each job.
- Verify purchases and returns on a weekly basis through statements and invoices.
- Oversee, maintain, and order various office and shop supplies.
- Collaborate with management to improve practices and policies to help facilitate shop workflow.
- Adhere to company policies and standards.
QUALIFICATIONS:
- Speak English.
- Have basic working knowledge of Spanish.
- Have knowledge of auto repairs and the automotive industry via education and/or experience.
- Have a clean driving record.
- Are organized and have excellent time management skills.
- Are able to communicate well with customers as well as coworkers.
- Have a professional, well-groomed appearance.
