I’m looking for a patient, confident dog walker who has experience with dogs that have had behavioral issues. My dog, Charlie, is an Australian Cattle Dog who has gone through extensive training to be rehabilitated, but it’s important that you’re comfortable working with dogs that may require special attention.
To ensure Charlie feels comfortable with you, we will need to spend a few sessions together before you start walking him regularly. This could be a great opportunity for an aspiring or current dog trainer looking to gain hands-on experience with a rehabilitated dog. I’m hoping to find someone interested in a longer-term arrangement, where you can work consistently with Charlie.
Requirements:
Experience with dogs with behavioral challenges (especially herding breeds is a plus!)
- Calm, patient, and confident demeanor
- Willingness to build trust with Charlie over time
- Comfortable with a longer-term commitment
