We are seeking an experienced, dedicated and enthusiastic Deli Associate to join our team. In this role, you will be responsible for providing exceptional customer service while preparing and serving a variety of deli products. The ideal candidate will possess strong customer service, a passion for making great sandwiches, work well with the team, maintain cleanliness, and the ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment.
RESPONSIBILITIES
- Prepare and serve deli items including sandwiches, salads, and other food products with attention to quality and presentation.
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of the deli area, ensuring compliance with food safety and sanitation standards.
- Assist customers by taking orders accurately and providing recommendations based on their preferences.
- Operate the POS system/register for transactions.
- Collaborate with team members to ensure smooth operations during peak hours while maintaining high-quality service.
- Perform bussing duties to keep the dining area clean and welcoming for customers.
EXPERIENCE
- Previous experience in a food service or quick-service fast food restaurant environment is preferred but not required.
- Basic math skills for handling transactions and managing inventory are essential.
- Strong time management skills to effectively prioritize tasks in a busy setting.
- Familiarity with POS systems is a plus but can be learned on the job.
- Must speak English
