Executive Chef

Calandra's, owners and operators of three high volume Italian Restaurants in Northern New Jersey,

is seeking a "Working Executive Chef" to lead the operations of the kitchen and back of the house at one of it's restaurants. Candidates must have a minimum of five years experience in a fast paced culinary establishment.

Candidates must have quality cooking expertise and teaching ability to enhance our line staff while working side by side.

Manage and supervise entire kitchen staff with excellent communication skills.

Coordinate and participate in all facets of kitchen operation while monitoring food and labor costs, planning menus and specials, monthly inventories and maintaining a safe and clean environment by following sanitation codes and policies.

Full time position (5 days, 55-60 hours per week) requires weekends and holidays
