One World Pizza in Jersey City is hiring a Head Chef to lead our globally inspired kitchen. This is not a traditional slice shop. We specialize in rotating international flavors—think Korean, Indian, Jamaican, Moroccan, and beyond—on a New York-style crust. Every month is a new country and a new challenge.
We’re looking for someone who:
Has strong experience with dough, fermentation, and global flavor profiles
Is comfortable running a tight, clean, and efficient kitchen
Can lead a small team and manage service under pressure
Is organized and reliable with inventory, prep systems, and communication
Wants to grow with a fast-moving hospitality group with multiple concepts
Requirements:
Minimum 3 years in a kitchen leadership role (Sous Chef or higher)
Experience with scratch kitchens and high-volume service
Familiarity with cross-cultural cuisines and willingness to learn
Availability nights and weekends
NJ or NYC food handler certification (or willing to obtain)
