Experienced Office Furniture Installer
We are a leading office furniture dealership located in Bergen County, NJ, providing workplace furnishings to businesses across the tri-state area. We are currently seeking an experienced installer/driver to assist with the delivery, assembly, and installation of office furniture. This is a full-time, non-exempt position with regular hours from 8:30 AM to 4:30 PM, with occasional overtime as needed. The hourly pay rate will be based on experience and skill level.
Responsibilities:
Deliver, assemble, and install office furniture according to project specifications and manufacturer guidelines.
Inspect products for any concealed damages and report findings to the supervisor.
Assist with warehouse management duties.
Requirements:
Minimum of 2-3 years’ experience as an office furniture installer, with a strong background in systems furniture.
Valid driver’s license and medical card.
Ability to read installation instructions and furniture layouts.
Ability to work effectively in a team environment with changing demands and timelines.
Proficient in using hand trucks, dollies, and panel carts (forklift experience a plus).
Strong manual dexterity for assembling furniture with hand tools.
Must have your own tools and transportation to our Franklin Lakes location.
Ability to lift heavy items safely and efficiently.
Excellent communication skills, with the ability to interact professionally with clients and team members to maintain and enhance our brand image.
Prior experience in the moving and installation of office furniture is required.
