FT Assistant Supervisor - Operations Support - $20/hour
Must have experience in hospitality/restaurant commercial cleaning, managing cleaning crews and/or performing custodial responsibilities.
Must have a valid driver's license, auto insurance and a vehicle.
Experience in floor care (buffing, stripping and waxing, carpet cleaning) is a plus.
Multi-lingual in English/Spanish.
Job Responsibilities:
Effectively supervise day to day operations responsibilities in support of the New Jersey Area Manager:
Provide coverage for any sites when employees call out during AM/PM shifts or when coverage is needed due to PTO
leave or on weekends, as needed.
Pick up supplies from vendors-Home Depot/American Paper/Walmart/Restaurant Depot etc.
Receive deliveries to the warehouse.
On Wednesdays, continue to pull and box up any supplies requested on Swept for NJ/NYC crew members.
Deliver supplies to all NJ sites and 3 NYC sites
Assist with any project work / floor care/ carpet care /power washing, etc.
Use the Swept App to communicate with NJ staff regarding any site issues for all upper management to track.
Inspect cleaning personnel work performance and make upper management aware of any issues with cleaning staff.
Report any employee misconduct to upper management.
Inspect supply closets at work locations to make sure they are clean and safe.
Inspect and confirm that all sites have Wet Floor signs and the PPE needed for the job
Inspect all customer sites for any safety issues and report back to upper management.
Inspect all cleaning equipment to assure it is functional and in working condition.
Assure that all equipment is cleaned/wiped down and is in suitable condition at client location.
Help to rain new employees when requested by upper management.
Help during the summer season with school floor care.
Clean the warehouse as needed, remove trash and bring it to the compactor.
Drop/pick off dirty linen at wash & fold laundry mat.
Deliver work uniforms to staff when needed.
