Our law office is seeking an Administrative Assistant to manage the day-to-day operations of the firm. Responsibilities include:
Answering calls and communicating with clients, prospective clients, attorneys and the court;
Processing mail and faxes;
Managing client files from inception to disposition;
Coordinate appointments and scheduling;
Assist with lawyer time sheets and billing;
Drafting letters, motions, discovery, pleadings and other legal documents;
Filing documents with the Court; and
General administrative duties including copying and printing.
Requirements:
Hardworking, reliable and punctual;
Excellent organizational skills and the ability to work independently;
Work well under pressure and be capable of multi-tasking;
Proficient in Microsoft Word, Outlook and Excel;
Strong telephone and communication skills.
Days and hours of work are negotiable.
