We are currently looking to fill a full time position on our manufacturing staff.
Primary Description:
This position requires individuals with industrial and commercial wiring experience to pipe and wire web converting machinery utilizing electrical, mechanical, and pneumatic prints.
Responsibilities:
Responsible as part of a team for electrical wiring of web converting machinery
Utilize a variety of tools and equipment to wire machinery and build panels according to engineering drawing specifications.
Interpret 2D and 3D assembly drawings, schematics, and written standards .
Lay out and install conduit runs. (including bending)
Mount and connect mechanical, electrical, pneumatic or hydraulic components.
Assist in checkout of assembled equipment to ensure functionality.
Working with in house engineering making necessary modifications and corrections during machine assembly, and checkout.
Skills Required:
Ability to use and maintain various hand tools, power tools, benders, etc.
Providing of own personal hand tools (screwdrivers, wrenches, sockets, allen wrenches, channel locks, pliers, tape measure etc.)
Drill, tap, and cut materials.
Ability to utilize safe practices and procedures and follow established safety rules and regulations to maintain a safe and clean workplace.
Must have good problem solving skills and be self-motivated.
Must be reliable and punctual.
5+ years experience in the wiring of machinery
This position is available immediately.
