What You Will Be Responsible for While in This Position:
The successful candidate will be responsible to perform layout, installation, repair and maintenance of various electrical and telecommunications systems to provide power for machines, equipment, lighting and facilities in accordance with codes, regulations and safety and performs related work with other Electricians as required.
This position also requires the ability to fully layout, install, maintain, and repair a wide variety of industrial electrical and telecommunication systems. Responsible for providing maintenance and support for the uninterrupted operation of essential electrical equipment.
Duties will also include partnering with other Electricians to provide guidance, install, and commission electrical systems. Oversee and assist installation and repair as required; the work may extend or connect to high voltage electrical and instrumentation circuits.

Knowledge and Abilities:
The successful candidate will possess the qualifying experience to be fully competent to layout, install, maintain, and repair a wide variety of industrial electrical and telecommunication systems. Experience supporting the abilities are to include the setup of work tasks and a e in depth knowledge of electrical theory. Must be available for emergencies or job assignments on a 24 hour basis.
Additionally, the successful candidate will possess a valid NEW JERSEY driver’s license. As this position is responsible for addressing the entire electrical trade and the successful candidate is expected to often work independently due to the diverse nature of the work.
Willing to attend school for job-related issues (and skills attainment) during working and off hours.
Education:
High School diploma, or Vocational School diploma (or equivalency certificate), plus two years of formal training in the Electrical Field including NEC code review classes.
