Custom sheet metal fabricator in Wayne, NJ is seeking a mechanic/welder. We are a fabrication “Job Shop” that does a wide variety of work, producing high quality, precision parts. Our employees are expected to work well with others and take pride in their work.
Responsibilities:
- Must read and interpret drawings, sketches and blueprints
- Must understand and take verbal instructions
- Must proficiently weld steel, stainless steel and aluminum using Mig and Tig welders
- Can set up and operate other fabrication equipment, drills, saws, shear, notcher, etc.
- Will participate in the fabrication of precision sheet metal parts, frames, hoppers, bins, and other machinery
Requirements:
- 2-5+ years welding and sheet metal fabrication experience
- Attention to detail
- Ability to set up and operate Mig and Tig welders
