Job Summary
Westminster Presbyterian Church in Berkeley Heights is seeking a part time Office Administrator to provide guidance and support to the congregation and for all office needs. This includes managing church events, records, schedules, and providing administrative assistance to the Pastor and church committees. The role also involves responding to emails and phone calls to ensure a welcoming and professional environment.
Key responsibilities
Assist the Pastor, church committees and congregation
Managing church office, phone, e-mail, calendar, mail
Data entry and calendar management for “NSGP Grant” (as needed)
Prepare the weekly bulletin using Publisher
Create slides for the Sanctuary projector using PowerPoint
Compile and publish the Annual Report for church officers.
Weekly update of the church website and Facebook page.
Skills and Experience
Office Administrator experience preferred
Proficiency in MS Office, PowerPoint, Publisher, and Excel
Knowledge of Wix website builder and Zoom is preferred
