Small Construction Company seeks an administrative/personal assistant for a part-time or full-time position (flexible hours) in "one person" office in Hasbrouck Heights.
This position is usually fast-paced and detail oriented. Work is expected to be completed in a timely manner and done well. Basic administrative duties and computer skills are required.
A successful candidate would have experience or be willing to learn the following areas:
- Proficient in handling invoices
- Vendor sourcing, contact, scheduling and follow up
- Sometimes anwers and returns phone calls, emails and takes messages
- collecting quotes and searching for material and equipment best prices
- Client status updates
- Good communication skills and comfortable on the phone
- Internet searches, general data entry/ updates
- Keep track of daily duties and time management
- Schedule meeting and manage calendars
- Occasionally might be asked to run light errands
- Basic computer literacy and experience with Word, Outlook, Google sheets, excel.
- Knowledge of construction/ facility services industry helpful but not a must
