A little about us… We are a family business. There are 11 of us (actually 11 + a couple of dogs that we have visit our office and a few kids who regularly come to work with their parents. We work with many production companies (big and small), photographers and event planners all over the globe, but most of our work is right here in the NY/NJ/PA area. The movie business is crazy and not nearly as glamorous as it may seem. But you will have the chance to check it all out for yourself. Did I mention that the cars are cool and we get to rig them for stunt scenes?
As our Automotive Tech Assistant, you will be reporting to Joe and working with our office staff. Our shop is very fast-paced with ever-changing demands, sometimes minute by minute. You can be cleaning a car one minute and then asked to help change a tire, and maybe even helping put on graphics. We are ONE and no task is above anyone. And when you watch tv, you get to say… I did that!

- What is your auto mechanical and shop experience?

Now the HR Needs:
- Must have valid drivers license and clean driving record.
- Must have excellent communication skills and ability to work independently as well as with others.
- Must be a US Citizen.
- Prior automotive experience and knowledge is a PLUS (not just that a car has 4 wheels).
- The pay is based on your knowledge and experience.
- You have to be detailed oriented and a person that follows systems and processes. In fact, just to prove that you are detailed oriented and can follow procedures when you apply for this position and in the "please tell us about your automotive experience" you must include "Make My Car a Star” in the comments section.
