PAY: $23/hr-$32/hr (based upon experience)
HOURS: Shifts will be 8 hour days starting at 7AM
SCHEDULE: Work will be Monday-Friday; at least 40 hours per week
START DATE: ASAP
DURATION: This is a temp-to-perm position
Concrete Finisher Job Description:
Set and align forms that hold concrete to the desired pitch and depth.
Place and finish concrete surfaces, including floors, sidewalks, and curbs.
Install and secure rebar reinforcement according to project specifications.
Monitor the curing process and apply curing compounds as necessary.
Mold expansion joints and edges using joiners and edging tools.
Perform surface repairs and patching as needed.
Collaborate with team members to ensure timely and quality completion of tasks.
Maintain a clean and safe work environment.
Qualifications for Concrete Finisher:
Minimum of 3 years of experience in concrete finishing, formwork, and rebar installation.
Proficiency in using hand and power tools for concrete work.
Strong understanding of concrete properties and finishing techniques.
Ability to read and interpret blueprints and project specifications.
Valid driver's license and reliable transportation.
Must be able to safely use hand/power tools and PPE
Must be able to perform job duties that require standing, crouching, twisting upper body, working at heights, and lifting up to 50 lbs. unassisted.
Position requires basic mechanic tools and the use of PPE, including: Steel-Toe work boots, safety vest, hard hat, safety glasses, and gloves.
Additional Requirements for Concrete Finisher:
Fit testing, pulmonary function testing, and silica testing required prior to start
40hr SST Card
Must be eligible to work in the United States
Must have reliable transportation to the job site
Depending on assignment, applicants may be subject to pre-employment drug screen and background screening.
